Frasers Property Australia is heralding a new era for the Skyridge masterplan at Worongary, applying its refreshed vision to deliver thousands of new homes on one of the last remaining greenfield land parcels on the Gold Coast.
Since acquiring development rights for the region’s only masterplanned community in June, Frasers Property has already sold half of the new home sites in the Botanica collection, where lots range from 401sq m to 865sq m and are priced from $750,000.
The 342ha masterplan is elevated up to 165m above sea level capturing views from hinterland to coast, with Frasers Property planning to deliver more than 3000 lots over the next 14 years with a vision for a connected, nature-rich community, anchored by 75ha of major parklands and preserved conservation areas as well as a neighbourhood centre.

Frasers Property Australia general manager development – Queensland Scott Ullman said the company was building on strong foundations at Skyridge, which was already home to more than 400 families.
“Skyridge is an iconic masterplan 20 years in the making, and we’re proud to be delivering the next chapter of its story,” Mr Ullman said.
“Frasers Property Australia has been delivering communities in Australia for more than a century, and, in Queensland, our track record includes transformative decade-long masterplans like Brookhaven at Bahrs Scrub and The Quarry at Keperra.
“Our vision for Skyridge is to create a distinctive coastal community that stands out among the rest, and a cohesive, intergenerational neighbourhood where families can thrive.
“It’s a vision that benefits the hundreds of families who already call Skyridge home and we’re looking forward to creating new opportunities and spaces for them to connect.”
Evoca Homes director Tony Bray’s company is a build partner at both Skyridge and Brookhaven – and he is a Skyridge resident.
Skyridge has views to the high-rise developments of the Gold Coast.
He said he saw the Frasers Property vision first hand while working on homes at Brookhaven and was excited to see Frasers Property’s investment in placemaking arrive on the Gold Coast.
“Frasers Property really cares about their build partners and their clients, and we’ve been able to build a lot of beautiful homes for some amazing families at Brookhaven,” Mr Bray said.
“We weren’t initially looking to build our family home at Skyridge. It wasn’t until we finished our display home 18 months ago that my wife and I decided we wanted to live here too – it’s hard to top the skyline views and sunsets we have from this unique elevation.
“It’s quiet and relaxing, but still close to everything.”
Hinrich and Louise Meijer recently purchased a lot at Skyridge to build their dream family home, and said they were drawn to the combination of community, space and convenience, finding it the ideal place to raise their two young children.
“We wanted to put some roots down in a place with families for our kids to grow up with,” Mrs Meijer said.
“Everyone at Skyridge is part of this community, and it looks like an awesome place to raise a family.

“The Gold Coast is very busy, but up here it’s an escape. Everything is close by, including amazing cafes, restaurants and shopping, and with nature all around us like the beach, hiking trails and waterfalls, you can’t compete with this location and lifestyle.
“We wanted stability for our family and enough space for all the different phases of life ahead. We’re not planning on moving out.”
Mrs Meijer said the calm, relaxing setting at Skyridge was unbeatable, alongside the connected community lifestyle and elevated positioning.
“The parks and nature trails were a big attraction for us,” she said.
“There are so many opportunities for the children to be outdoors, and that kind of experience is so important for their confidence and development.
“The views add an extra level of happiness. Even though we haven’t moved or built the house yet, we find ourselves coming to the park because we love being here so much.”
