Visitors to realestate.com.au over the past month were captivated by stunning homes in spectacular Australian settings.

June's most-viewed listings read like an ad for the Australian way of life: impeccably renovated homes in beautiful settings offering quintessential lifestyles.

Think views of bubbling Tasmanian creeks, Port Phillip Bay or the wild Pacific — homes hidden deep in the bush, set among sweeping lawns or framed by tropical gardens.

Jump ahead to see the top 20 homes in June.

The list spanned almost every state and territory, with seven homes in Victoria, four in Queensland, three in New South Wales, two in South Australia and Western Australia, and one each in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

Sweeping acreage estates, city mansions and quaint cottages all made the cut — and just one lonely apartment.

Take a look at some of the stunners drawing clicks this month.

Brisbane 'trophy home' ahead of its time

Agent Tristan Rowland at Bright Estate Agents said he's not surprised the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 88 Kenna Street, Aspley in Brisbane's north is the most-viewed listing this month.

Accepting offers over $2.2m, the former display home on 709sqm has drawn strong local and overseas interest, he said.

"It's a pretty spectacular house. The builder, Murray Allen, has built over 180 houses in that area — and this one's the absolute cream of the cream. It was designed to be that trophy home that everyone would want."

The former display home was built in 1996, and a recent renovation has brought it up to date. Picture: realestate.com.au

Built in 1996, the home's soaring 5.3m double-height ceilings and atrium-style windows were ahead of their time, he said — and a recent renovation has brought it up to date.

Even the street number is a drawcard, with 88 considered lucky in Chinese culture.

Idyllic riverside home in Tasmania's Huon Valley

This white weatherboard-look cottage with its sweeping verandah overlooking a babbling brook in Tasmania's picturesque Huon Valley looks right out of Anne of Green Gables.

Even the address  — 134 Crabtree Road, Grove — sounds like it belongs in a storybook, overlooking the Crabtree Rivulet and Sleeping Beauty mountain ranges.

Agent Danielle Daniell at Harrison Agents Hobart said she's been "inundated" with inquiries, though the near-$1.4m asking price has given some buyers pause, especially given the property's unusual layout: two identical one-bedroom holiday cottages, Emily and Eliza, separated by a soundproof firewall.

But this pair, built in 2006, boast a tidy earning potential of $150,000 a year at 60% occupancy, or up to $220,000 at full capacity.

"It's drawn so many people with its enchanting façade and riverside setting," Ms Daniell said. "It's just finding the right buyer — a retiree letting one unit, a family wanting a guest cottage, or someone opening it into one big home."

Each cottage is bright and airy, with soaring ceilings, a wood heater, a spa bath and kitchenette — just 100sqm internally, but on a 3,056sqm block that feels remote yet isn't.

"It's a lovely rural setting, but only seven minutes from amenities and 30 from Hobart," Ms Daniell said.

Surprising resort-style home in rural Darwin

Not many homes in rural Darwin come with a fairy-lit staircase leading down to a pool with a full-size waterslide, a circular firepit with built-in seating, an undercover pavilion with its own bar, plus a sauna, cold plunge and kids' sandpit — all set among tropical gardens.

And that's just the start, with 200 Mcminns Drive, McMinns Lagoon actually three beautiful dwellings in one, spread across five acres: a four-bedroom house, a two-bedroom demountable ideal as a rental, a self-contained studio, plus a workshop shed with mezzanine storage.

Renovated over the past four years, the property feels like a private tropical resort, rounded out with veggie gardens, a chicken coop and a rear paddock with stables.

Agent Daniel Harris at Real Estate Central Projects/Rural said it's attracted families with teenagers wanting room to spread out, multi-generational households, and southerners chasing value and a tropical lifestyle.

"It's an incredible property — you don't see many high end properties like this in the area; it's a real standout," Ms Harris said.

Hewitt's $14m Sydney estate

There was plenty of interest in Lleyton and Bec Hewitt's sprawling Glenhaven estate in Sydney's Hills District, on the market for $14m just two years after the couple bought it for $10.3m.

The tennis great and former Home and Away star are selling their six-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 8 Edgecliff Road to find something more convenient for their family of five.

"They're ready for a different lifestyle," said agent Gavin Weekley of Guardian Realty. "With all their travel, it's more convenient to be closer to infrastructure."

The modern Mediterranean-style home is off the market temporarily and due back on in August, with enquiry levels strong, said Mr Weekley.

Set on two hectares, the estate includes a championship tennis court (resurfaced in 2024 by Spanish group Greenset, which also lay the Australian Open's courts), a resort-style pool, a guest cottage, a gym, a barn with sprung dance floor, two paddocks, vaulted ceilings and a kitchen built around an oversized stone island.

The landscaping features 16 mature olive trees, sensor lighting and remote-controlled irrigation.

"You're not just buying a house but a lifestyle," Mr Weekley said.
